Project: Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for RxSecurityPrinter web site

Summary: In response to 2003 California security prescription law SB 151, Applied Graphics, Inc. began offering tamper resistant prescription forms to physicians via their RxSecurityPrinter web site. Sensing the urgency to be one of the first to effectively market this product online, Applied Graphics looked to LMents of Design to analyze this emerging niche market and perform SEO services.

Following an extensive review of other vendors offering similar prescription form printing services, several steps were suggested to the client. Phase two involved identifying key words and phrases to effectively reach the target market online. The client was urged to make use of key search terms wherever plausible, both on the Applied Graphics and RxSecurityPrinter web site. In phase three, LMents of Design submitted various URLs related to the Applied Graphics and RxSecurityPrinter web sites to hundreds of search engines and online directories.

Result: Within 30 days the Applied Graphics RxSecurityPrinter web site dramatically increased in search engine ranking in several of the key search phrases identified. In many cases, the RxSecurityPrinter web site appeared on the first page of search results for Google, Yahoo and MSN. This SEO project continues to yield strong results following this initial effort.
